I was very pleased when I had the opportunity to meet

David Selby,

"Quentin Collins"

I had this unexpected moment at the 2004 DS Festival to present David with my debut copy of "Moonlight Surrender" complimenting it with "Shadows of the Night".  

  

It takes a rather courageous gentleman (in this country) to confess to hundreds of people that he fancies the novel, "Wuthering Heights"

   BRAVO!!!!

 

Quentin Collins...

Has Left the Building!

 

 

 

 

I wait with anticipation

Longing to be near him again

I have such curiosity

But yet I hold back in refrain

 

Full moon in autumn beckons change

And reveals many truths to see

Wishing upon this starry night

I feel welcomed arms around me

 

His passionate kiss, all consuming

So totally, blissfully, helpless

I am captive to his affections

Any escape will be deemed... hopeless

 

He looks deeply into my eyes

I discover his sudden fright

With reluctant hesitation... he says,

 

 "My name is Quentin Collins!" 

 

 As he vanished... into the night
