I agonized with the fate of my female protagonist, but it was apparent that she would be forced to take her own life, and Quentin would go back to the past with Angelique.
I'm sorry... life is not fair!
Not every story is guaranteed, nor deserves...
a HAPPY ending!
This series was a WONDERFUL outlet for my 'Brain TV' -aka- 'hyper-active' creative mind process!
When the project was a wrap, I GLADLY 'shelved' it for about 2 1/2 years. It was a controversial write, and I had doubts if the series would ever be published. Today, I see this from a 'newer' perspective, but this time with no doubts or regret, regardless of the critique.
My defining moment was satisfaction that I gave my heroine a noble and dignified demise, (for a coerced suicide) but I would NOT recommend it.
Who knows... maybe she did meet up with Quentin again in Heaven or Hell?
YOU GO GIRL!
